Silane liquid

The role of silane liquid in metal surface treatment is mainly based on the special chemical structure of silane coupling agent. The silane coupling agent molecule contains two functional groups of different properties, one end can form a chemical bond with the metal surface, and the other end can form a chemical bond or physical adsorption with the organic coating.
When the metal workpiece is immersed in silane liquid, the silane coupling agent molecules generate silanol through hydrolysis reaction, and the silanol undergoes a condensation reaction with the hydroxyl group on the metal surface to form a strong chemical bond, thereby forming a dense silane film on the metal surface. This silane film can improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and coating adhesion of the metal.
