During the electrophoretic process, the workpiece acts as the cathode and the anode unit provides the anode electric field. The anode membrane tube separates the anode liquid from the electrophoretic paint liquid while allowing cations (such as hydrogen ions) to pass through to maintain the electrical neutrality of the electrophoretic paint liquid.
When the positively charged paint particles in the electrophoretic paint liquid move toward the cathode workpiece under the action of the electric field and deposit to form a coating, the cations in the anode liquid enter the electrophoretic paint liquid through the anode membrane tube to balance the charge. At the same time, the anode membrane tube prevents anions and paint particles from entering the anode liquid to prevent the anode liquid from being contaminated.
